I create old-fashioned hand tied quilts, comforters and throws using hand pieced cotton, fleece or flannel tops, batting and hand pieced cotton, fleece, flannel or faux fur backing. Only the pieced cotton tops and hems are machine sewn, the rest is all done by hand.

This sailor bear w/toy chest medium sized (45"W x 60"L) crib quilt consists of a 100% cotton hand pieced top and back with polyester low loft batting in the middle. The bear with toy chest colors range from denim blue, yellow, warm golden browns, pink, sea foam green and white with the back being yellow/warm brown cotton and warm golden brown yarn ties and thread. Total thickness is about 1/8-1/4".
This crib quilt is handmade with hand sewn corners, is hand tied and has a zigzag stitched hem. Each comforter or quilt can be machine washed and dried without the batting bunching up in the corners.
